With over 30 years of experience in the forestry and sawmill industry, Lars Norberg has primarily worked within SCA, focusing on:

  • sales/marketing
  • transportation/logistics/purchasing, both nationally and internationally
  • order, inventory, and invoicing administration.

Now, he offers his gathered expertise through consultancy services at Prow Consulting AB.

One of Lars’ most significant professional achievements is the cloud service lasset.se, now c-load.com, of which he is the architect and originator. It is a digital platform for procuring freight for trucks, railways, and containers. The system also facilitates freight ordering and information exchange among all parties involved in transportation. Additionally, C-load provides invoicing data, reports, and follow-ups on completed transports.

Lars identified shortcomings and issues in how the company handled procurement, ordering, tracking, and invoicing processes. Much manual work consumed valuable time among employees in various departments.

”I went to SCA’s CEO and presented my thoughts on this and what I wanted to do, which received approval for development.”

The cloud service has been successful, celebrating its tenth anniversary on December 1, 2022. Currently, approximately 300 freight forwarders/transport companies and 18 customers are connected to the system.

”Professionally, it’s my life’s work. I often refer to C-load as my fourth child; that’s how proud I am.”

Another professional accomplishment Lars is proud of is his involvement in the Swedish Wood’s contract committee. He served from 2011 to 2022, and from 2020 to 2022, he was the chairman.
